伊江島とは (About IE Island)
“伊江村は沖縄本島北部の本部半島から北西約９kmの海上に位置する一島一村の農漁村です。
本部港からカーフェリーで、約30分で訪れることができます。
島は、東西8.4km、南北３km、周囲22.4kmの大きさで、北海岸は約60mの断崖絶壁が連なり、南海岸はほとんどが砂浜です。
比較的平たんな島の中央やや東よりに海抜172ｍの古生代チャートの城山（伊江島タッチュー）がそびえ立ち、島のシンボルとなっています。”

It is a small island and it takes only 30 minutes to go to IE Island by ferry from Motobu Port (Okinawa Main Island).

かの有名な、「美ら海水族館」とか「フクギ並木」から海の 向こうの方 に見えている島です。
You can see the island from Chura-umi aquarium.
こんな↓島見たことないですか？あのロードオブザリング？的な「山」が、島の象徴の「タッチュー」ですね。
The hill you can see over the ocean is the symbol of IE called "Tacchu".

本島：本部港からフェリーでたったの30分！
その料金はなんと...往復（本部発）1370円/人
車を運んでも 往復5880円（運転手運賃含む）という安さ！
It costs you only 1370 yen (about US$13) for round trip per person,
and 5880 yen to take your car there (including one person's fare).
It's really cheap, isn't it?
